Hovinbyen, the industrial area east of Oslo will undergo a strong transformation. The main challenges in this project where the big infrastructures crossing and fragmenting the site, the lack of connections between the different areas and with the center of Oslo, the creation of a new urban structure for housing and working places offering new qualities in public space and defining a new green structure.
