The main challenges of the project have been to clarify the spatial definition of the square, which now is lacking, the improvement of the connections of the square to its surroundings and the activation of the façades and functions opening to it. A multifunctional belt embraces the square integrating the existing buildings and vegetation, providing spatial definition, connectivity and program.
