The concept for the Park is based on Selma Lagerlöfs book Nils Holgerssons underbara resa genom Sverige: a promenade across the different landscape qualities and vegetation of Sweden, following the meandering waterways. Topography is modulated in order to create variation and differentiated rooms: from the intimate and dense gardens, filled with vegetation and apple trees, towards the more open spaces for sport and social encounter.
